Commercial and Aerospace Machining

AS 9003 CERTIFIED

Our CNC milling department consists of five vertical machining centers.  Three of our vertical machining centers have four-axis milling capabilities.

Our CNC turning department is comprised of two Okuma four-axis lathes.  We have bar feeding capacity to 1.75 inch diameter and chucking capacity to 12.75 inch diameter.  Many parts can be produced by performing two operations simultaneously on these four-axis two-turrett machines.

Our welding department is capable of precision weldments made of aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.

Our mechanical assembly department is capable of tasks as simple as helicoil installation or as complex as a 200-piece-precision assembly.  This ability allows us to supply our customers with a complete product.  We can purchase raw castings, supply finished machined parts, purchase required hardware, and deliver a complete assembly.  Some of our more complex assemblies include:

  • F-18 HUD Chassis (100 pieces)
  •
  • F-15 5x5 Display Chassis (50 pieces)
  •
  • Rodent cage for NASA (100 pieces plus)
  •
  • Rodent feeder for NASA (200 pieces plus)
  •
  • Automated bonding fixture which attaches ferrite heads to flexures -- disk drive head manufacturer (200 pieces plus)

  • Our inspection department has a complete assortment of manual inspection tools plus a Starrett HGC Coordinate Measuring Machine.  All tools are calibrated on a regular scheduled basis and the standards used for calibration are traceable to NITS.  For many years, we have complied with the requirements of Mil-I 45208.  We are currently moving towards ISO 9001 conformance.

Job Planning and Job Tracking are two key elements in producing high-quality parts on time.  With the use of job shop-oriented software and visual aids, jobs are planned and tracked throughout the production process.  We use SurfCAM Software with NC Verify to program our CNC equipment.  Parasolid, IGES and DXF files are compatible with SurfCam.  We have also purchased Solid Works and Cosmos Works to aid in the engineering and development for our products.

We have a variety of manual mills and lathes, which are used for prototype work, tooling, fixtures, and secondary operations of CNC machined parts.

We offer pick-up of drawings and free delivery to customers in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.  Our payment terms are 2% 10 net 30 and we accept VISA and MasterCard as means of payment.  We look forward to an opportunity to serve you.
